Last weekend, we had the pleasure of playing at a wedding at the stunning venue, The Oakwood at Ryther for Amber and Richard.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the venue. The Oakwood is situated in a picturesque location with stunning views all around near to the cities of York and Leeds. The venue itself is beautifully decorated with an elegant yet modern touch, which made the wedding even more special.
The reception was held in the old grain store, which was beautifully decorated with wood panelling, candles, and stunning floral arrangements. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. The drinks flowed freely throughout the night, and the atmosphere was electric.
We had our photopod set up entertaining guests all night on the mezanine floor.
Overall, The Oakwood at Ryther was the perfect venue for this amazing and fun wedding. From the stunning location to the delicious food and amazing entertainment, everything was top-notch. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding or any other special event.

Gateway Church in Leeds was the amazing venue for Jared and Sammie’s party last weekend. We had a great time playing for you and massive happy birthday to Jared! What a great venue and big thanks to Gabe for his expert sound engineering.
This weekend we played a tipi event at a new venue in Pontefract, Yorkshire called Ackworth Grange. This grade II listed building has a private walled garden area and is in close proximity to neighbouring towns and areas of Wentbridge, Pontefract, Doncaster, Barnsley and Wakefield. It has hosted many private parties over the years and is now opening its doors as a totally new venue.

Last month we played a great event for the Ferrari owners club at the Queens Hotel in Leeds. The Queens Hotel is a really popular event venue choice in Leeds and they host many weddings, conferences and amazing events like the one we were invited to play for the Ferrari owners club!

The Queens Hotel is one of the most famous landmarks in Leeds with it’s beautiful Art Deco-style rooms and lovely restaurant. We always love playing here and the event for Ferrari was no exception.

We had a great time playing for an amazing charity at the Irish Centre in Leeds this weekend. SVP do some great work with local children, facilitating days out and giving them opportunities that they wouldn’t normally have access to. Their fundraisers are always well attended and this event was no different with a great crowd.
We love having this opportunity to help local charities so SVP, keep up the good work and special thanks to Andy for his great work organising everything!
Thank you so much for playing at our charity event. We had nearly 200 people attending, raised £1,000 and everyone had a brilliant night – there were lots of sore feet the next morning from all the dancing! Mitch was great in the run up to the event, keeping us well informed and taking time to understand the theme of the evening so that the band delivered exactly what we wanted, and more! We were very pleased to be invited back to play a corporate function for SSP at Berties @ La Cachette in Elland last weekend. SSP are a great bunch of people who have made us feel very welcome when we have played for them in the past. This weekend was no exception with band and guests having a great time.
Berties is a great venue for parties and corporate functions and we always have great fun when we play there. Special mention for chairman David who is leaving the organisation and moving in to retirement. We wish you all the best for the future!
