There’s something special about walking into the room at Manchester Hall just before guests arrive. The lighting, the tables dressed for dinner, that sense that a big night is about to unfold.

For this event, have a quick look round the room before the evening properly begins – and once guests were seated and the formalities wrapped up, it was time to turn things up a notch.

We were there as a full 5-piece band with sax for a Freemasons event, and as soon as the dancefloor opened it didn’t take long for it to fill. Manchester crowds always bring great energy, and this was no exception.

One of the standout moments of the night was a special request for “Pink Pony Club” – which absolutely went off. It’s always fun when a slightly unexpected track becomes a full-room singalong, and that one definitely had hands in the air.

From classic party tunes to modern dancefloor fillers, the set built naturally throughout the night. The sax added that extra lift on the bigger choruses, and by the final stretch it felt less like a formal corporate evening and more like a proper celebration.

Manchester Hall is such a great space for events like this – elegant for the dinner portion, but with plenty of room to create a packed, buzzing dancefloor once the party starts.

Huge thanks to everyone involved for having us. Nights like this are exactly why we love what we do. If you’re planning an event at Manchester Hall (or anywhere across Manchester), we’d love to help you create the same kind of atmosphere.
