Huge congratulations to Sophie and Alex. What a day at Oaklands Wedding Venue in Driffield.

We started the afternoon with our acoustic duo out on the balcony. The weather was kind, guests were relaxed with drinks in hand, and it was one of those really easy, feel-good starts to a wedding day. Just guitar and vocals keeping things laid-back while everyone settled in.

One of the best moments of the day was the first dance – outside. There’s something pretty special about doing that under the open sky with everyone gathered round. It felt personal and properly memorable.

In the evening we switched up to the full 5 piece band with sax and the energy jumped up straight away. Dancefloor filled quickly and didn’t really empty after that. Proper mix of classics, newer stuff and a few big singalongs thrown in for good measure.

Oaklands is such a great venue for live music – loads of space, great atmosphere and a really friendly team running things behind the scenes.
